*Note: Even though since 2012, my pay rate’s on average seems to be $50 daily, I’m also someone who’s flexible with rates, i.e, someone who can suffice with stipend (i.e, $5-15), or $20/25 daily, etc., depending on the production’s budget of the time.

2009

(July 2009): Successful completion of production assistant internship, doing pre-production, misc. office work (i.e, assisting in compiling shot list/schedule, offering design ideas for official website, running errands) for “Ghostmaker (formerly Box of Shadows).”

2010

· USC/Katherine Oyegun (Jan. 28-29th, 2012): Contributed 1st G&E, swingman, background extra work for USC of 2012, handling from moving furniture, being an extra, assisting the gaffer and DP (with the usual C-stands, gels, floppies, etc…), stinger wrangling, for the student thesis, “Before I Lose My Nerve.”

· ACM Prod./Alex Magana (Feb. 3rd, 2012): Added/accomplished 1st foray as music video grip/production assistant to director Alex Magana, for local (?) hip hop talent, Republic West, etc…, with all things crafty-related, keeping production site clean (from trash), and handling/setting up/striking down G&E gear such as stingers, appleboxes, etc…

· Chapman Univ./Ayelet Bick (Feb. 23-25th, 2012): Accomplished first, room-and-boarded production site, as swingman with G&E (i.e, handling/setting up/striking down) lighting equipment such as C-stands, appleboxes, lunchboxes, stingers, floppies/gels, as 2nd AC (i.e, operating clapper), and associate/assistant to producer, with various crafty, sanitary (i.e, picking up trash)-related duties, on the romantic, medieval fantasy-themed, thesis project, “Dead Hearts.”

· USC/Will Goldstein (March 3, 2012): Assisted in 2nd USC project of 2012, contributing with grip and electric duties involving stinger wrangling, setting up stage set (whenever relevant), and various lighting, C-stands, lunchboxes for the thesis project, “Fox The Gambler.”

· NYFA/Colin Pierce/Jenna Davant/Vidhu Balik (Apr. 27th, 29th, 2013): Acquired 2nd official paying gig in a second year of paying film gigs as background extra, in the project, “Pancetta Wrapped Date.”

· AFI (May 11-13th, 2013): Contributed as grip to student project/thesis, “Woody & I.”

· Cinegear Expo/Melissa Pina (May 23-25th, 2013): Acquired what may be the highest-paid gig to date, by combining my temp work experience in trade convention assignments, with my current film production experience as P.A. for the Cinegear Expo, set on Paramount Studios (vending for various state-of-the-art movie/TV/video/audio gear of the year); some minor labor coupled with people skills, i.e, traffic control, deescalating vendor/attendee frustrations, including patrolling the lots as ‘extra eyes/boots-on-the-ground’ staff assistance.

· John Holloway & Brandt Meyers/Collin St. Dic (June 4th, 2013): Assisted as grip in TV sitcom pitch project, “Promo Life.”

· UCLA/Julia Siempre Asi (June 8th, 2013): Acquired and assisted in the 4th paid gig of 2013 as grip for the project, “The Loop.”

· Phunware (June 14th, 2013): Helped out in familiar, temp work territory as PA, doing clean-up work for the aforementioned, decommissioned video production company before some upcoming move or what not.
