| About You: | Show business is in Sharon Braxton’s blood. Born into a family of entertainers, this busy woman prides herself on being a savvy Marketing Executive, Author, and Host. A graduate of Northeastern University majoring in Speech Communications with a concentration in Radio and Television, she was an On Air Personality and later became the Music Director at WRBB Radio Station, home of a multitude of famous Radio Personalities; Braxton’s debut in television was booking talent for Higher Ground, a gospel commercial television show and Rap Around, a hit pop culture commercial television show. Soon after, she received a nice break when a Television Producer had a conflicting interviewing schedule. She needed to interview an A-list Celebrity and asked Braxton to interview Will Smith, the newer artist on the scene. She went on to hosting and creating multiple events including but not limited to Michael Kors VIP events, department store runway shows, and working with artists such as; Cher, Madonna, Donnie McClurkin, Bebe & CeCe Winans, Beverly Crawford, Andre Crouch, Yolanda Adams, Missy Elliot, The Braxtons, The Backstreet Boys, Eric Benet, EnVogue, and Busta Rhymes. Braxton was the Host of a show entitled, TALK OF THE TOWN, a show filled with lights, camera, and fashion, featuring pop culture, celebrities, and professional sports. She is a recipient of several awards for her expertise and dedication in the music industry. She continues to travel throughout the world, including Africa, Europe, Trinidad, West Indies speaking to fans about her books, and students about “Walking in Greatness,” Marketing in a Global Economy,” “Branding Yourself as a Brand,” etc. Her additional projects consists of; an e-book entitled, Seasons: 40 Ways to Affirm Your Life and two novels, BEFORE I LET GO: I will not settle for mediocrity and CRYING SHAME, in which Fox considered Crying Shame as a theatrical release. She completed her Crying Shame Center Stage Book Tour to 15 cities by selling out at Borders bookstore in Los Angeles, CA. The books have inspired people to press forward even in their darkest hours and will make you listen to your inner spirit, love yourself, lead your own life, and chuckle along the way! |
