| About You: | My name is Rosangelica Lopez and I am looking to find work as a production assistant. Over the years, my focuses have redirected into an interest for production. This newfound interest stems from my love for visuals and sound. Photography has been a hobby of mine for many years. This year I ventured with some colleagues and curated a highly successful art show in The Bronx, my hometown. As far as sound goes, I studied piano for seven years, and have now picked up guitar. I am currently reading Mixing Audio: Concepts, Practices, and Tools by Roey Izhaki. It would be a pleasure to translate this new knowledge into physical practice. I’d like to gain more knowledge about film, production and sound by observing those who practice it as a career. What I am looking to gain is a deeper insight into all of the aspects and details it takes to ensure that production is running smoothly. I am interested in the individual stories of man vs. the supersaturated tales we’ve been sold for years and years. I’d like to be a part of facilitating the stories of man with the tools I hope to learn as a PA. Currently, I am a set PA for a webseries and short film. These are two separate projects that I have taken on for the summer in order to expand my knowledge and get Regardless of the task at hand, initiative will be taken along with a positive, headstrong attitude to ensure efficiency. I’d love to make a career out of film and facilitate My availability is rather open. The web series only shoots on weekends. As for the short film, shooting will be wrapped within two weeks. I’m only on set two days a week M-F. |
