Neon Girl 1953 Film Dec 2012

I have worked in a countless number of project: commercial, corporate videos, music videos, short films, news, etc., etc., in the nearly 20 years of my career. I can say I have a vast experience in the area of TV and Film. I can work in productions in various positions, but the ones that interest me the most are Gaffer, Camera Operator and Cinematographer.

Versatility is Rafael’s strong suit. His skills and professionalism as a DP are made even more valuable by his talents as a camera operator and broadcast engineer. He’s always willing to go the extra mile on any of the productions I’ve worked with him on. We’ve been in the trench on numerous shows, and there will be many more. I’ll be working with Rafael for many years to come.

If I could select all the good qualities that describe Rafael I would. Unfortunately, I was only allowed to select 3. Rafael’s work is extremely professional and I am very lucky to have met him and can now work with him. He has made our projects stand out from the rest. He is on time, professional, creative and extremely hard working. His integrity is top of the line. One drawback to Rafael is that if you aren’t prepared to work with a real professional it would be best to skip him and hire someone else. I would be glad to take him for my next project.

I have no problem in recommending Rafael. Rafael is one of the best cameramen I’ve had the pleasure of working with. He brings a high degree of skill to the location every time we work together but more importantly is always willing to share his creative ideas. He always makes sure that our shoots look the best they can be not matter what the circumstances might be

I started in my career 1994 as a PA, I climb the stair of the industry. From PA, to grip, to electrician, to gaffer, to louder, to 2nd AC, to 1st AC, Camera Operator till now as a DP.
My passion for films and TV, make me to try harder and demand more to myself. I cannot say that has reached the highest point of my career, because there is always something new to learn and every project is a personal challenge.
I had the good fortune of working with different film formats: 16mm, Super16mm, 35mm, super 35mm and
as well as video cameras: analog, digital and HD . I took a workshop for steady cam operator.
