Please accept my application for a production crew position advertised on Craigslist. I would be most interested in any production office related work you might have available. I am an individual that has many years’ experience working in the photographic and motion picture industry. I believe this will translate very well to a position you have available.
Prior to coming to Canada I worked for many years in both camera equipment rental as well as Film Production and Post-Production in Los Angeles, CA. During that time I was a Freelance Line Producer for
Commercials and low budget feature films.
For the past five and a half years, as Senior Rental Coordinator I managed logistics for Panavision Vancouver, a fast paced, ever changing, deadline driven, professional motion picture equipment rental house. It was my responsibility to make sure clientele had all of their equipment needs met, and to do that I arranged for expensive equipment to be moved all over North America according to their requirements. In that role I supervised warehouse personnel and worked closely with the Marketing and Shipping departments to make sure all of this happened on time and on budget. I have over 15 years experience in similar positions with companies in the US. In that regard, over the years I have established many industry friends and contacts across North America. In all of these positions I was the “Go to Guy” for finding specialty equipment outside the normal inventory. Please review my attached resume for further details.
My major in college was Photography and later Radio, TV and Film. I worked for a couple years in Broadcast Television in Michigan where I am from originally. I am now a “Landed” Canadian.
