My resume, in brief:

I’m a musician, audio engineer and educator from Brooklyn. I’ve taught, composed and played in NY and LA for the last 9 years. Training at Touro College and working at Digital Island Studios, I understand the technical side of recording, mixing and engineering. I’m familiar with all types of music production hardware and software, I’m especially proficient with Digital Performer and ProTools. I’m well-spoken and highly organized, personable and hardworking. I’m smart, efficient, and very easy to work with. I have great ears, a positive attitude and implacable attention to detail.

Experience
Scored and Mixed the short film ‘Flights’ October 2012
Assisted in every step of this indie short’s production, from early drafts of the script to the final edit. My main role was composer, but I also recorded location audio, live and programmed sound effects and mixing in post.

Graduated Cum Laude with a bachelors in music, concentration on composition. Composed 90 min suite of music for 15 piece band as thesis competition. Scored Josh Bennett’s thesis film “Swiftly Into Darkness.” Experience playing in Jazz ensembles, Brazilian and North African ensembles. Extensive training in Jazz and Classical theory.

Skills

I have over 25 years experience on guitar, both writing and performing. My education, experience and passion for music have equipped me with highly sensitive ears and a wide range of knowledge. I have a deep understanding of music theory, performance and production techniques, first-hand knowledge of many types of music, including – but not limited to – Rock, Hip-Hop, Pop, Indie, African, Brazilian, Jazz, Classical, Latin. I’m very familiar with Digital Performer and ProTools software, as well as Logic, Sound Blade, Reason, Ableton, Cubase, and most other DAW’s.
