Marc is a professional writer residing in suburban Detroit, Michigan. Filmmaking

Moving Pictures Entertainment, LLC – Co-owner with producer/director Bob Gothro of this Michigan-based production company. The company plans to produce its first feature film, an award-winning drama written by Marc and entitled “The River,” in Metro Detroit, Michigan, during 2014.

Michigan Film Advisory Council – Appointed to the state film council by Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm in 2008. Re-appointed for an additional 4-year term in September, 2010.

“A Family for Christmas” – Screenplay sold to Marvista Entertainment in April, 2013 for production as a Lifetime Original Movie. Story is a romance involving a reclusive author and three generations of women who become stranded at his mountain cabin a few days before Christmas.

“High Heels & Horse Shoes” – Screenplay sold to Larry Levinson Productions and Hallmark Entertainment in December, 2011. Story is a romantic/comedy centering around an independent journalist’s undercover experience at a Montana dude ranch.

“Bury the Dog” – Screenplay sold to producer/director Nina Gortinski in May, 2009. Story is a dark drama exploring a marriage at the breaking point.

“All I Want for Christmas” – Screenplay sold to Larry Levinson Productions in August, 2007. Story is a holiday romance centering upon a single mother whose son enters a contest hoping to find her a husband for Christmas.

“Damaged Goods” – Screenplay sold to Rich/Tint Productions in Januar, 2006. Story is a dark romance between a pair of troubled young lovers.

Marc’s first book, a collection of essays on marriage and parenthood entitled When It Comes to Spooning, I’m a Fork, was published in print, electronic and audio formats by Motivational Press in July, 2013. The book currently ranks as their top-selling nonfiction title.
