| About You: | Production Designer/Art Director/Set Decorator based in Los Angeles. I have been applying my knowledge, skills and imagination to production design, art direction and set decorating for film, television, commercials and video for the past 12 years, almost exclusively as part of the Art Dept. Prior to that I worked as an architectural designer for over ten years, re-orienting my design career and obtaining a MFA degree in scenic design from the California Institute of the Arts in 2000. Since then I have had the opportunity of working on a wide variety of different types and scales of entertainment projects as Production Designer, Art Director and/or Set Decorator, often including the responsibilities of Prop Master. My 20-plus years of involvement in design have made my work experience varied in nature (film, video, architecture, graphic design, photography, costumes and theatre) and scope, encompassing design duties, supervision and leadership roles as well as administrative functions.
