For the last four years I have been conducting freelance work in the film industry. Working as a writer and a producer has given me enormous insight into how to organize projects and how to work collaboratively. It also has instilled in me a powerful comprehension of planning, communication and the importance of self-motivation. The experience gained in such a competitive market and in such a community-based field has been invaluable to the development of my skills as a writer and to my professional behavior.
Since I earned my bachelor’s degree from Penn State in professional writing, I have completed three short films and have written six feature screenplays and three novels. One novel, for which I have produced a cinematic book trailer, has been published by JukePop Serials. My latest short film, which I both wrote and produced with Idryonis Studios, won Best Film at the Philadelphia Film and Animation Festival. I currently hold the position of head writer for Media Train Rek’s sketch show Rek-A-Sketch. I have worked as a writing tutor and I volunteer as an instructor with Mighty Writers.
My vocation in film has given me good practice with juggling many tasks while maintaining a strong pace without sacrificing the quality of work performed. I am timely, efficient, courteous and perform well both autonomously and collaboratively. I will be able to provide your company with unrivaled work ethic, commitment and responsibility.
