The Vacation Channel – August 2013 to June 2014
Videographer, Director, Sports Photographer, Equipment Maintenance
Was hired to be the sole videographer for The Vacation Channel, a television station dedicated to advertising to the tourists of Branson, Missouri. Primary resposibilities consisted of coordinating and shooting infomercial-style commercials. These commercials were typically shot at each business in a tour/interview style (as-live). Used Sony XDcams and LAV mics and worked with a wide variety of on-camera talent and customers. Also was responsible for filming and directing two-camera shoots of the Southwest Missouri area high school football games.
KXLF CBS TV News – March 2011 to March 2013
Multi-Media Journalist, Field Reporter, Cameraman, Video Editor, News Script Writer, Studio Sound Technician
Acquired experience in filming, cinematography, lighting for film, video editing, writing for news teleprompters, on-camera presentations, and operating soundboards for video studios. Worked under extremely tight deadlines, mostly unsupervised. Single-handedly crafted television news stories for broadcast across multiple Montana counties.
Montana Tech Technocrat – 1.5 years experience
Director of Media Operations – September 2011 to May 2013
Contracted with Montana Tech’s student newspaper The Technocrat to produce online videos of varying styles. Coordinated efforts to film, produce, and edit videos for the newspaper’s YouTube channel and blog.

Music is Magic Documentary
Producer, Director, Project Creator
Created and marketed a successful Kickstarter project in 2012. Raised over $2000 to film a mini-documentary in Seattle Washington. Directed camera operators and conducted over 30 interviews during a convention of 2000 plus attendees. Edited all footage in a span of two weeks.
Practical Skills
Writing and Editing
Adept at formatting text to be grammatically correct and appropriate for any given context. Able to write professional-grade articles, critiques, memos, and other documents used in a business context. Trained in copy-editing and editing for style.
Video Production
Proficient in operating a wide variety of video production equipment, including camcorders, microphones, studio lighting, light filters, etc. Able to operate a wide variety of video and audio software packages for editing and conversion, and capable of quickly becoming proficient in similar, unknown software.
Computer Hardware
