About Yourself:

About You:

My background includes an advanced diploma from Niagara College in Radio, Television and Film Broadcasting as well as a degree in Film Studies from Brock University.
My education has given me many diverse work experiences, such as working as a student producer, director, continuity supervisor and other positions on various film and television projects. Duties included scheduling shoot times, and keeping a paper trail of all and any necessary paperwork, managing a budget accordingly, fund raising, and keeping track of receipts, permits and various administrative paperwork duties. These positions left zero room for errors and assisted in expanding my competence in time management. In addition it gave me the advantage of a better working knowledge of the media business by creating alliances with others in the broadcasting industry.
During my career, I have demonstrated an exceptional ability to meet organizational objectives and demands. Furthermore to my administrative skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Photoshop- I am a skilled planner, work well independently or in a team dynamic, and I always take direction in timely manner. Most recently I worked on the pilot of CBC’s Cracked as the office production assistant. My duties included filing, distribution schedules, call sheets etc. I worked closely with the production coordinator and assistant production coordinator assisting to ensure that office tasks, paperwork and various duties were completed on time and effectively in a fast paced environment. I am certain I would prove to be an asset for this team as well.

Working independently with little supervision I feel is one of my assets. I take pride in having developed my skills as a resourceful problem-solver who uses her initiative and organizational skills to get the job done. My colleagues often have referred to me as a competent team member who is always prepared to go the extra mile, someone who is able to remain focused and self-directed in a fast paced work environment while dealing with conflicting demands.
As you will see in my resume, for the last few years I have been working as a bartender to supplement my income until the right job is presented. The skills I use on a day to day basis can are absolutely relatable for this position. I can be available for work as soon as it is needed to discuss it further.
I would love the opportunity to be part of this team. I am confident that if you chose to meet with me, you will see the enthusiasm I have. I would appreciate any chance to expand my resume and skills and hope to hear from you soon. I have attached my resume and you can contact me at (905) 325-7613 anytime so I can discuss my interest in this production further.
Respectfully,
Christine Szabo
