BIOGRAPHY
Angelique Villagracia Wilson (born February 16, 1989) is an American-Filipino writer. Wilson began writing short stories at the age of seven and completed a young adult fantasy novella in sixth grade. She also wrote piano and violin compositions, lyrics and poetry in junior high. Throughout high school and into college, Wilson received several journalism awards for features and investigative news stories. In 2013, Wilson graduated from Columbia College Chicago, where she concentrated in screenwriting – channeling the voice of an introvert through dark dramas, fantasy and poignant horror. With experiences as the ink to her pen, Wilson often casts characters into horrific, self-confined realms in which they undergo an identity metamorphosis. Three of Wilson’s horror scripts have been produced and an experimental piece was featured in a local film festival. Upon graduation, Wilson interned at WHDT World News as a writer and collaborated with its producer on a horror feature. She also worked as a production assistant on Hollywood-budget projects. Wilson helped create Sensory Media, an independent production company based in Lansing, Michigan currently filming a comedy web series and music videos for local artists.
