My name is Ian Preston Cinnamon. For the last 10 years I’ve acted as an independent & commercial filmmaker , I obtained my BFA in Cinema in 2003.
I am talented, innovative, and productive with advanced skills and a strong creative flair. I am highly adept in all aspects of television and film production. One of my many gifts is the ability to conceptualize new and exciting ideas. For the past decade, I have operated in a myriad of capacities utilizing multiple skills for small and large production companies, including, but not limited to directing , assistant directing , DOP , writing and producing , sound engineering , etc. for niche entertainment, international commercials (Germany) metropolitan public service announcements, and industrials for private corporations.

I have received numerous award nominations for films I have written, directed, produced, edited, and scored. I know I am a good production resource as I have experience in all aspects of media production from client acquisitions to creative development and postproduction.

I confidently perform a wide array of motion picture, television, and photography duties and willingly accept increasingly difficult responsibilities. Additionally, I am comfortable working in multiple positions in the media production process. I enthusiastically work on small and large production projects, and I am an efficient and effective individual worker and team player.

I have a positive attitude and outlook as I face challenges. I enjoy media production processes and as well as resolving potential production delays that accompany creating motion pictures, television, and photographic imagery. I have exceptional experience with arranging and coordinating production projects, including, project development, crew hiring , negotiations and location scouting. In addition to a strong work ethic, I possess outstanding communication skills by seeking guidance, when necessary, from team players and as well my supervisors and managers to ensure excellent work products.
