To whom this may concern,
I would like to express my interest as a production assistant. I am confident that the production’s values and objectives would highly complement my own strengths and enthusiasm. I would like to be considered for the position that requires excellent communication, customer service skills and film knowledge. I am just starting my career in film and being a production assistant is the perfect starting point. Being involved with a production that involves passion, character, initiative and educated expertise would be a perfect match with my personality and skill.
Evidence of my set knowledge can be seen in my responsibilities as a director for my short film that is in association with Temple Street Productions. That experience not only gave me an opportunity to write and directed my first short film but, also be a part of a professional crew and set. I was able to have Jonathan Sobal as my director mentor to guide me with the production process from working with actors to plying with different lenses. Even though I did not work as production assistant I did take chances to get familiar with their multiple duties. I feel confident that I can perform a production assistant’s duties to the best of my abilities while also taking great initiative.
I would appreciate the opportunity to sit down and discuss my work experience further and explore the productions environment.
