Good day,
I am a trained carpenter with three years of experience in the different tasks that need to be performed as one. Looking through just such a position on the Craigslist website, I would like to offer my services as not just a carpenter but a craftsman.
Briefing about my educational background, as I am a high school graduate as well as I have completed my vocational training in carpentry at the Chateauguay Valley Career Center in Ormstown, Quebec. I have all my cards and they are up to date. I believe that my exceptional credentials would have marked your attention and therefore, I request you to consider my application for the applied job position.
I have worked two years in a row at the Montreal Grand Prix building ramps and decks as well as helping in the construction and renovation of bars and restaurants with Castle Construction.
As indicated in my resume, I have a considerable experience in constructing, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood. My proficiency extends to building rough wooden structures such as concrete forms, scaffolds, in keeping with verbal instructions and following blueprints. Moreover, I have working knowledge of performing carpentry tasks based on measurements and able to follow instructions in accurate manner. My experience has taught me to identify safety risks and to take relevant precautions in order to eliminate those risks.
I am very much confident and positive about my work capabilities and so, I believe that I would prove a beneficial asset to your organization. Look forward to meeting you in person and having a further discussion regarding the future job responsibilities. Please call me at (438) 933-9342 if you would like to speak to me in the meantime.
Thanking You.
Yours Sincerely,
Andre Emery
