Groundglass Casting is seeking a Casting Coordinator with a positive, highly motivated, detail-oriented, growth-mindset to project-coordinate and collaborate with Casting professionals at one of Canada’s leading commercial Casting companies. http://www.groundglasscasting.com
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Communicate with clients in collaboration with the Casting Director / Casting Associate.
● Coordinate and supervise multiple, concurrent Casting jobs, including scheduling, liaising with production team, communicating plans and delegation of tasks to casting team, leading kick off/planning calls, strategizing, pivoting to find solutions and meet production needs, often with tight timelines
● Supervise and review delegated client-facing tasks to meet high standards of service
● Office management, including ordering swag, refreshments/snacks, scheduling catering for callback sessions and scheduling cleaners
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
● University degree
● 5+ years professional work experience
● Experience as a production coordinator, producer or project manager, ideally in the advertising industry.
● Extensive experience managing multiple, concurrent projects under tight timelines from inception through completion, including strategizing with internal/external stakeholders for optimal results
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
● Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships and to interact effectively with individuals
● Solutions-focused critical-thinking; effectively and efficiently managing conflicts/issues as they arise, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
● Competence with Microsoft Office suite, Slack, Google Drive, Dropbox on Mac OS.

START: June, 2026. Full-time contract. On site in the Junction area of West Toronto, occasional hybrid flexibility.
COMPENSATION: To be negotiated, commensurate with experience.
