Nicole Bedford is seeking a knowledgeable and multi-talented Production Sound Recordist / Mixer to help us capture audio at a concert event for a documentary short titled Memories to Music.
We’re looking for someone with experience in Production Sound for run-and-gun documentaries as well as experience capturing live music concerts. We’re a small a spunky team and are hoping to work with someone who is professional, fun, and passionate about audio!
THE PROJECT: Racing toward a live concert deadline, a group of high school students work together with seniors living with dementia to turn the seniors’ life stories into original songs. Over the course of their journey, we learn how music can be an invaluable connector across memories, generations, and communities.
WHEN: April 23, 2026, afternoon & evening
WHAT: Recording the student concert (band setup with amps, drums, and multiple microphones through a PA system in a gymnasium setting) + capturing in-scene audio with documentary subjects.
