Location: Hamilton / Dundas, ON Shoot Dates: April – May 2026
Status: Non-Union / Micro-Budget
We are seeking a lean, dedicated crew for HAMMER, a gritty short film capturing the industrial atmosphere of Hamilton. Because this is a micro-budget production, we are looking for serious applicants who are passionate about independent cinema and ready to wear multiple hats to bring a vision to life.
OPEN POSITIONS
1st Assistant Director (1st AD): * Scope: Beyond on-set management, you will be heavily involved in pre-production.
Responsibilities: Developing detailed scene breakdowns, creating the shooting schedule, and ensuring logistical feasibility before we hit the dirt.
Production Assistant (PA) / Associate: * Scope: This is a high-responsibility role for someone looking to learn the gears of indie film.
Responsibilities: Assisting with budget tracking, location scouting across Hamilton/Dundas, and managing social media outreach for casting calls and production updates.
Line Producer: * Responsibilities: Managing the micro-budget, handling vendor relations, and overseeing the physical production logistics to ensure every dollar is on the screen.
REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work as a local in the Hamilton/Dundas area.
