    B3M is looking to connect with Construction Project Managers for a new Canadian lifestyle & design series airing fall of 2026.

    Start date is early February, with some the potential for some Canadian travel involved.

    Position: Project Manager (Construction Manager)
    Department: Production
    Reports To: Line Producer & Series Producer
    Location: Toronto (IN-OFFICE; Minimum 4 Days/Week OR On-Set)

    Eligibility: Ontario resident, Canadian citizen or permanent resident

    Role Summary:
    The Project Manager is a construction expert responsible for planning and overseeing all construction activities for the TV series. They will support the casting department in evaluating and selecting projects for the show, and planning each Scope of Work with the designer(s). They will facilitate construction to meet TV show deadlines, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget.

    This role serves as the liaison between the office team, field crew, outside construction teams/contractors, and homeowners/business owners.
    Must have construction experience and/or renovation series Project/Construction Management experience.

    Key Responsibilities
    – Plan, manage, and execute renovation projects from pre-production/casting through final reveal.
    – Review and evaluate all potential projects during the casting process; assist in selecting projects.
    – Work closely with designer(s) to plan renovations and project scopes.
    – Source and hire relevant contractors & trades for each renovation.
    – Manage and motivate multiple construction teams simultaneously.
    – Act as liaison between Production and all construction teams; must always know the status of each renovation; conduct daily progress calls with construction teams and/or conduct site check-ins to ensure projects are on-schedule and on-budget.
    – Communicate renovation progress, risks, and delays to production throughout process
    – Provide Story Producer with ongoing reno/design updates to help plan episodes.
    – Work with teams on the ground at each project to ensure Story Producer’s scenes are set-up and ready for each shoot day prior (i.e. ensuring relevant materials are on-site, ensuring trades and laborers are prepped, etc.).
    – Work with construction teams to adjust workflow to accommodate shoot days and/or planned scenes without compromising safety or quality.
    – Track budgets, change orders, and cost controls throughout the project.
    – As required, create and maintain key design and construction documents: schedule, scope of work, materials required, deliveries, key dates, list of labour, trades, etc.
    – Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and reports for production.
    – Serve as the primary Production Contact for project/property owners.
