Project Title: Man Near Death
Production Type: Short film
Dates: February 20-21st
Rate: $2,500 total (covers 2 days of labor + your Camera/Lighting kit).
Note: Sound is already covered by a separate Sound Mixer.
What’s needed from the Cinematographer:
Someone who is great at lighting indoor scenes to make them feel emotional.
Someone who can film intense dialogue without making it look boring. (Clemency/court setting).
Someone who can help us decide what camera and lights we need to rent (or who has their own).
Project Summary:
Looking for a creative Cinematographer for a 20-minute short film with heavy, powerhouse dialogue in one scene. The story follows a lawyer, through a formal clemency hearing to save his client from execution, and a subsequent psychological breakdown in his office. The visual’s shift to a meltdown “unraveling” (Drunken/Psychological, supernatural).
Must have your own gear (camera + lighting
Reliable professional, and consistent
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under pressure.
