Seeking an editor for a short film who works in Premiere and can jump in where our previous editor left off. Rough cut has already been assembled, now we are looking for someone with a fresh set of eyes, and a different sensibility, to help get us over the finish line.
Ideal candidate is one that has worked on a “slower-paced” style of film, someone who has experience with building tension and emotion through longer takes. As an example, the style and pacing of Pawel Pawlikowski’s 2013 film “Ida” was one of the main references for the film.
The film was the recipient of a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts and will be submitted to film festivals once the final product is assembled.
Budget: we are offering a flat fee of $1,500 CAD to help get the film from rough cut to picture lock.
