Film Crews in Canada 1 month, 4 weeks ago Sofie Sim is looking for a female first-time feature director to apply for the next season of Telefilm Talent to Watch.
Requirements are: preferably Toronto or GTA based, has directed at least 2-3 short films in gothic horror or horror-leaning genre. Queer women are encouraged to apply as this story features lesbian romance.

The Haunting of Bly Manor meets Portrait of a Lady on Fire in this dark, sensual and bittersweet exploration of passionate feelings between two outcast women of Nova Scotia. The Last Lightkeeper is a gothic romance with salty aftertaste of the sea and the tears, a celebration and damnation of loneliness, captivity and failure to belong. It’s full of ghosts and shadows that our protagonists will have to learn to see through if they truly wish to remain together.
