Job Description:
As a Quiz Show Researcher, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all content used in our show. Your primary duties will include conducting thorough research, fact-checking, and verifying the phonetic spellings of specific words. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and quality of our show’s content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of topics to ensure accurate and reliable content.
• Fact-check all information to ensure it is correct and up-to-date.
• Review and correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation in all written materials.
• Develop phonetic spellings for complex or unfamiliar words.Qualifications:
• University or College degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in research, preferably in a media, education, or publishing environment.
• Exceptional grammar, spelling, and editing skills.
• Strong understanding of phonetics and the ability to create accurate phonetic spellings.
• Ability to fact-check information quickly and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with a wide range of topics, pop culture and current events is a plus.
