Film Crews in Canada 5 months, 1 week ago ISO: Assistant to Producer and Director

Time Period: August 7th – October 4th
A HK company that is planning to shoot a feature film in Toronto this summer is seeking an assistant to start work this week. Duties include, but are not limited to, office set up, general office work, filing, photocopying, note-taking, dealing with correspondence, booking appointments, organizing travel, etc.
Person must be fluent in English, proficient with MS Office software and be able to drive. Experience in the film or television industry as well as familiarity with film software is necessary. There will be many regular dealings with Hong Kong and any candidate who can communicate fluently in Cantonese (and Mandarin) would be an asset.
Salary commensurate with experience with a minimum starting rate of $950/wk. Approximately 45-50 hours per week excluding a one hour lunch.
