Sharing that AccessCBC updated its eligibility requirements, pasted below. Also, DisInCdnTV Database is still offering the match-making service to help pair potential partners for the sake of applying to this program (or networking). First round of potential matches have gone out. A second round will go out early next week.
We are badly in need of more producers. A reminder that you can apply to be the team’s producer if you are a writer or director as well — and according to the new criteria below. Unfortunately, right now, not everyone who registered as a writer to the matching service will be offered a potential pairing.
UPDATED ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
We have heard your feedback and have made changes to some of our eligibility criteria. Please still refer to the respective programming sections for further details.
1. Requirement for writer and producer to self-identify as Deaf and/or disabled: While we prefer for both the writer and the producer to self-identify as Deaf and/or disabled, writers who self-identify as Deaf and/or disabled may apply with a non-disabled producer (however copyright must be held by the writer).
2. Requirement to have one writer and one producer: Our preference is for teams, however, if you meet the requirements of both writer and producer you may apply individually. Please include a CV and some additional materials if you can.
3. Requirement for producers to have two credits: Producers who do not have two credits may still apply as long as they have comparable experience. Please include a CV.
