New York / NYC Crews 1 year, 2 months ago New York’s two film companies (Journey Entertainment, PARADOX FILMS) are collaborating domestically on a low-budget Chinese vertical screen campus bullying romance micro-drama “A Girl Nobody Wanted” (adapted from the novel of the same name on the Dreame platform) and are recruiting for the following positions with at least 3 years of film-related work experience:
Set Designer (must be available for all 8 shooting days)
Costume Supervisor (must be available for all 8 shooting days)
2 Camera Operators familiar with the SONY FX camera series
Makeup Artist, needed for only three days
Projected Shooting Dates: 3/30/24 – 4/6/24 (8 days)
Script Length: 83 pages
Location: New York City (tentative)
Story Synopsis: Sarah Anderson is a beautiful and academically successful student, but she lives a miserable life because nobody loves her. She is accustomed to being bullied and hurt by everyone, including her parents and classmates. One day, she receives a text message from an anonymous person that becomes a turning point in her life. This person begins to care for her from afar, making every effort to make her happy, and even confessing their love to her. All of this leads to a major change in her life, and she starts to stand up against those who bully her.
The production will provide catering and arrange transportation, including pick-up and drop-off for the crew and actors.
