STORYLINE: KK has a school history project and she selects her mother, Kellen, as the subject. KK talks with her grandpa and aunties about how her mom was as a child. Script is 6 pages in length
I’m currently helping a friend with a passion project for his daughter’s 16th bday. It’s a short film, 6 pages, to be shot on 11/22 in NYC. Short film will premiere at her 16th bday party in Dec.
Great project for anyone needing reel footage, and working with an awesome director who has a slate of features to be shot in 2024.
ROLES:
[KELLEN] 35 to 45 years old, Black woman. Kellen is KK’s mom and the subject of KK’s school project.
[KK] 8 to 10 years old, Black girl. KK is Kellen’s daughter. KK has a school project and chose her mom as the subject. KK is gathering information about her mom as a kid.
[GRANDPA] 60 to 75 years old, Bald, Black man. Grandpa is Kellen’s dad and KK’s grandfather. He tells KK about her mom as a kid.
[KAMDYN] 35 to 40 years old, Black woman. Kamdyn is one of Kellen’s best friends from childhood and tells KK about her mom when she was younger
[KENNEDY] 35 to 40 years old, Black woman. Kennedy is one of Kellen’s childhood friends and tells KK about her mom when she was younger.
