Project Synopsis
Empathy: Jewel is living with the after effects of death and divorce. Phoenix moves like a puppet when reminded of her childhood trauma. Roc can’t go anywhere without his notebook because it’s his lifeline. This trio is committed to their healing process by attending a weekly support group, led by an unreliable lay person, Tracee. During a group session, Tracee encourages the group to write original poems as a way to better understand their dissociative disorders. Through poetry, flashbacks and the colors of their eyes, we explore this group’s interconnected chaotic lifestyles and explore what is reality and what isn’t in this film.
