That’s Not Funny! is a cultural history of flatulence. History, popular culture, science and sociology come together in a universal story of our own humanity. Fast- paced, artful and highly musical (obviously), the documentary intends to instruct and illuminate, even though this is a film for a highly specialized audience — those greatly amused by the subject. Fortunately, there are billions of us.
We’re in search of West Coast families from all walks of life willing to share their fart anecdotes. For the sake of art, of course! Most families have a notorious farter in them, or at least a few stories that are an absolute gas.
Anyone interested in being a part of this project is encouraged to reach out to me at [email protected] a.s.a.p.. We’ll be filming within the first two weeks June (date TBD) and would love to hear any fart stories your family is willing to air.
