Writers 10 years, 10 months ago I am responding to the advertisement titled “Writers needed for feature film and TV projects.” I have three completed screenplays (one reaching the Nicholl quarter-finals) and spec scripts for two different 1/2-hour comedies. Although new to screenwriting, I have been a writer in other contexts for more than 20 years – as a reporter and editor for five newspapers, a freelance editor and writer, and most recently as a writer for a marketing department. My experience has helped me become a strong collaborator in creative story-telling environments.
