Ontario Provincial VEX Robotics ChampionshipWelcome to the 2014 Ontario Provincial VEX Robotics Championship, taking place on March 1st, 2014 at Governor Simcoe SS in St. Catharines. This event will qualify 12 teams to the 2014 VRC World Championship in Anaheim California, April 23-26th. The following awards will qualify teams for the World Championship: – Excellence Award – Tournament Champions (3 Teams) – Tournament Finalist (3 Teams) – Design Award – Programming Skills Champion – Robot Skills Champion The remaining 2 to 6 spots (depending on whether or not any teams earn more than one of the previously mentioned qualifying spots.) will go to the highest ranked teams in the province in the season long Programming Skills and Robot Skills Challenge rankings. The cost of this event is $200.00.
