Screenwriters With Scripts Ready to Make 11 years ago I have a few screenplays in the fantasy/science fiction mode that I have also recently adapted a lengthy short stories that I am trying to interest SF magazines in (I find them most open to receiving unsolicited material from new or unknown writers, as opposed to finding production companies willing to look at screenplays). These stories tend to be humorous and based in reality, and are visually oriented with a lower budget than the special effects extravaganzas usually associated with this genre.
