Murdoch has been an actor since 16, and performing in Port Alberni high school productions, and community Theatre. He went on to attend Concordia University in Montreal to study scriptwriting, playwriting, and theatre. Returning to Vancouver, he acted in three consecutive Fringe Festivals, appeared as an Extra in many movies and television, and had small roles with Neon Rider, Wiseguy and 21 Jump-Street. His big non-break came in the failed 1992 TV Pilot “Cars”. Mur has been on the local stage in “I’ll Be Back Before Midnight” with St. Luke’s Players. Victoria Shakespeare plays “King Henry V” and “Hamlet”, and in Langham Court’s “Isn’t it Romantic” and “The Memory of Water”. As well, he produced and directed his own original play, “The Return of Love” for the 2009 & 2011 Victoria Fringe.
Mur has also studied Announcing for TV and Radio at B.C.I.T., and tends to sing wherever he can get away with it. [email protected]
