I saw your post on mandy.com and would like to offer my services for Jaws reboot. I’m a location sound mixer in addition to a live sound engineer. I have been working professionally in my field for about 8 years. Here is my resume (nicholasjlittle.com/resume) and a few examples of recent work (nicholasjlittle.com/recent-work) for your review.
Film productions are a team-oriented environment and I believe communication is key. When I experience a problem with sound I not only inform the director, but offer solutions. I never vocally stop a take–normally I’ll give a discreet hand gesture or sometimes simply making eye contact is enough. I’m polite, friendly, and easy to get along with. I believe sound mixers can generally have a bad attitude and I do my best to offset this stereotype.
Along with my experience and kind nature, I also bring a reputable kit which includes a Nomad 10-channel mixer/recorder, Lectrosonics wireless systems, a Sennheiser MKH 416 for boom, and an optional camera hop/IFB. For a complete list of my equipment visit this link (nicholasjlittle.com/equipment). All microphones are recorded to separate channels for more flexibility and ease of mixing in post.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
I look forward to hearing back,
Nicholas J. Little—
